Challenge
When loading and unloading tooling machines, the vastly different geometries of the components needed to be taken into consideration. In addition to the low weight of the gripper, another challenge was type recognition of the components and a "clamping transfer" to the device.
Solution
The solution used a standard swivel unit with a center position and a standard long stroke gripper with integrated clamping (GHK6000 series).
